that I love each and every track radiohead has made.
that i love every single album.
that i cannot get enough of their music
because they are all master pieces made by one of modern rocks greatest band
The exhibition I went to today, Lost Angeles, featured art by one of my favorite artists of all time, Stanley Donwood.
Stanley Donwood is an artist from England who is most famous for doing all of Radiohead’s artwork. To be specific, his art has been used for 15 singles, and 9 EPs, and he did the album art for Kid A, OK Computer, and Hail to the Thief. The art for Thom Yorke’s solo album, The Eraser, was part of a larger series entitled London Views, all of which was exhibited with alongside the Lost Angeles work. He has also done all the art for the Glastonbury Festival since 2002.
A description of the work from the Subliminal website:
Lost Angeles will feature a new body of work where Donwood turns his poignant perception on the impact of current societal trends and behavior towards Los Angeles. His visual meditation on society envelopes viewers in a beautifully graphic landscape of impending doom. The fluid black and white scene resonates with honesty and forewarning […] On display will be an 18-foot apocalyptic panorama of the City of Angels being destroyed by fire, flood, and meteor storm.
The work is breathtaking, and you will appreciate it whether you are a Radiohead fan or a fan of truly unique, meaningful, and beautiful art.
It runs through Friday at 4 at a gallery called Subliminal Projects, so if you are in LA tomorrow with nothing to do, I highly recommend stopping by. To see more of his work, head to Slowly Downward.

This was nearly impossible to photograph because of the reflection and subtleness, but it’s the Radiohead/Kid A Bear done in black diamond dust.
I don’t think I’ve ever wanted a material thing so badly in my whole life.
There was nothing to fear, nothing to doubt
